This half-day course provides directors and senior management with a clear understanding of their legal duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act, and other associated regulations.
Following the introduction of the Corporate Manslaughter Act on 7th April 2008, there has been a growing focus on the health and safety responsibilities of directors and senior managers in all organisations.
This course will discuss the implications of the Corporate Manslaughter Act, and how it can affect your organisation, including employer’s responsibilities.
Course Aims
The course is designed for Directors, Chief Executives and senior managers in the private, public and voluntary sector. The course will provide delegates with an understanding of their responsibilities under health and safety law, how your organisation may be exposed, and what action to carry out in order to fulfil these duties.
